Justin Timberlake is set to start his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Vancouver on April 29 at Rogers Arena.

The actor, singer-songwriter and former *NSYNC member’s local date will be the kickoff for his 22-city tour, his first tour in five years. The Vancouver concert is the only Canadian date on the tour so far.

Timberlake has performed in the city several times in the past, with his last, two-night tour stop occurring in 2019 for the Man of the Woods Tour. The singer’s first solo tour date in Vancouver was way back in Sept. 2007.

If Timberlake’s past Vancouver dates are any indication, the upcoming tour stop will be chock full of his previous hits, though a news release noted this tour will focus on new songs from his yet-to-be released sixth studio album titled Everything I Thought It Was.

Timberlake recently revealed the first single from the forthcoming album, a song called Selfish. The tune has garnered more than one million views on YouTube after only one day online.

A 10-time Grammy Award winner, Timberlake has sold more than 54 million albums as a solo artist and 70 million with *NSYNC.

The SexyBack singer garnered headlines last fall, but not for his music. In singer Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman In Me, the pop superstar revealed an abortion she had while dating Timberlake in the 2000s. The revelation was met with backlash online as fans criticized Timberlake’s behaviour toward Spears at the time.
