Much to the disappointment of many, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will not be the next guest on ‘Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios‘. The Australian mercurial had got all of the tennis community on their toes in eagerness for the episode between the two.

As Kyrgios has been out of action for nearly a year now, he has explored different avenues. One of them has been becoming the host of his talk show. The show is being produced by Naomi Osaka’s media company and has so far released five episodes.

The guests have been big names from different walks of life. This includes celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, lifestyle influencer Jay Shetty, and American TV icon Rainn Wilson. After the success of his first five episodes, Kyrgios announced Nole as his next guest, owing to their growing bromance.

However, his recent update on X (formerly Twitter) suggests otherwise. He put out a short cryptic message that clarified the news of the Djokovic episode being postponed. Instead, some other guests will be part of the next release of the show. At the time of writing, the identity of the new guest has not been disclosed by the Aussie.

Change of plans…… next episode of good trouble swap

Tweeted Kyrgios.

Fans upset with Nick Kyrgios for postponing of Novak Djokovic episode

The finalists from the 2022 Wimbledon Championships sat down for a chat in Melbourne Park earlier this year. As the former World No. 13 had to withdraw, he turned interviewer before the Grand Slam event began.

The discussion between him and Nole was much appreciated, which further increased the excitement of fans for the Good Trouble episode. Now, the episode has been pushed forward.

Others, meanwhile, found the opportunity to ask him about his comeback event as usual. A few others speculated on who could be the next guest, while one user even fired a cheeky shot against Kyrgios.

Whether it’s a marketing move to keep fans hooked or some other issue, it remains an unanswered question. But certainly, the buzz around the show will be on high until the episode with World No. 1 is released.
