The hard-court season has finally ended following the conclusion of the Miami Open. The Rolex Monte Carlos Masters, scheduled to start on April 7, will be the first tournament of the European clay season. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who withdrew his name from the Miami Open, is all set to compete on clay. However, ahead of the season, Nole revealed his secret moves to his fans.

In a video uploaded by ASICS Tennis on Instagram, Djokovic announces he is going to show some of his secret moves. For a moment, one may imagine that the 24-time Grand Slam champion would indeed disclose the secrets behind his electrifying performances, but that wasn’t the case. So on April Fools’ Day, Djokovic fooled everyone as his secret moves were simply his dancing moves which he heartily showed off in the video.

Djokovic suffered a harrowing defeat in Indian Wells this year. As many expected him to try his luck in Miami after so many years, he shockingly opted out of the tournament.

As the Monte Carlo Masters is around the corner, Djokovic will ensure he doesn’t succumb to an easy defeat. Last year, Lorenzo Musetti beat the Serb in the fourth round in three sets 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Novak Djokovic has started his 419th week as World No.1 in the ATP Rankings. His spot was in danger when Carlos Alcaraz was knocking out players in the Miami Open.

But as the Spaniard got outclassed by Grigor Dimitrov in the quarterfinals, he lost the chance to inch closer to dethroning Djokovic from the No.1 spot in the rankings. Had the Spaniard completed his Sunshine Double, he would have been just 200 points behind the Serb. Now, Alcaraz lost this spot to Miami Open champion Jannik Sinner.

When the rankings list was updated on Monday (April 1), Djokovic still occupied the top spot. After breaking so many records in his illustrious career, Djokovic is all set to break another one next week.

He will surpass Roger Federer to become the oldest World No.1 player on the ATP circuit. By then, the Serb will be 36 years and 321 days old.
