The 2024 Grammys are approaching, and Boygenius, Olivia Rodrigo, and Miley Cyrus have all received nominations for Record of the Year. SZA, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Victoria Monét, and Jon Batiste complete the pack. See the nominated songs below.

This Grammys cycle marks Boygenius’ first string of nominations. The supergroup of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus is nominated for “Not Strong Enough,” from debut album The Record. It’s Dacus and Baker’s first nomination each; Bridgers has previously been nominated four times.

Rodrigo is up for Guts’ lead single, “Vampire,” which is competing for a few other awards this year, including Best Pop Solo Performance. Swift’s “Anti-Hero,” Cyrus’ “Flowers,” SZA’s “Kill Bill,” and Eilish’ “What Was I Made For?” were all also nominated for both awards.

Monét and Batiste conclude the list of nominees, for “On My Mama” and “Worship,” respectively.

SZA outpaced every artist this year, earning a total of nine nominations, which include Album of the Year and Best Progressive R&B Album for SOS. “Kill Bill” was also highlighted in the Song of the Year Category. Other nominations include Traditional R&B Performance (“Love Language”), Best R&B Song (“Snooze”), Best R&B Performance (“Kill Bill”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Low”). “Ghost in the Machine,” her Bridgers duet, was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Monét, Bridgers, and producer Serban Ghenea are close behind SZA with seven nods each, while Swift, Rodrigo, Eilish, Cyrus, Batiste, Brandy Clark, and Jack Antonoff tie with six each.

In addition to Record of the Year, Boygenius are up for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album (both for The Record), Best Alternative Music Performance (“Cool About It”), as well as Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song (both for “Not Strong Enough”).

Swift’s Album of the Year nomination for Midnights puts her in a tie with Barbra Streisand for most Album of the Year nominations for a female artist. If she wins in the category, Swift will become the first artist to take home Album of the Year four times. She is also up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance (“Anti-Hero”), plus Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights), and Best Pop Duo/Group performance for (“Karma” with Ice Spice).

The 2024 Grammy Awards are scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Follow along with all of Pitchfork’s coverage of the 2024 Grammy Awards.
