John Legend Wouldn’t Let Wife Chrissy Teigen Name Their Son After Their Dog And We’re Outraged

The model revealed an exciting nugget of information in her cook book.

Days after shutting down body-shamers about her fabulous post-baby bod, Chrissy Teigen has dropped an epic bombshell regarding her second child’s name. Baby Miles, born back in May, is younger brother to sister Luna, and his full name is Miles Theodore Stephens – which is pretty cute.

Unsurprisingly, the little man is as adorable as his sister, boasting of the good looks of both of his attractive and chubby-cheeked parents.

That’s right, the Sports Illustrated-starring funny woman wanted to name her son after her dead dog.

Hello Giggles reports that in the acknowledgements section of her second cook book Cravings: Hungry for More she writes, ‘To my Puddy in dog heaven, our first born pup: I think about you every day. We will miss you always. John won’t let me name baby boy after you. Just know I tried.’

Only six months ago Teigen and Legend said goodbye to their beloved bulldog. After taking him home during their first year of dating, Puddy became the pair’s first baby. Teigen wrote of her furry friend passing, ‘I always knew I would lose a piece of me when he left us. I feel the hole now. I will love you forever, my boy. My heart aches. Thank you so much for everything, everything.’

Unfortunately, singer Legend didn’t think Puddy an appropriate name for a human child, instead being inspired by legendary musician Miles Davis in naming her son, which we guess is fine.

This comes after Teigen has admitted that Legend is in fact the pushover parent.

‘He will say no and then if [Luna] asks one more time, it’s a yes,’ Teigen, 32, told BUILD Series. ‘He’s a bit of a pushover with Luna. I think it’s because they look so much alike and he’s like, “Okay, you beautiful being. Anything you want.”‘

We guess he put his foot down on this one then…
