Taylor Swift set 2 records on Spotify in just one day
Taylor Swift created a miracle with two new records in the album and artist categories on the Spotify platform.
Spotify confirmed that Taylor Swift has broken two records, becoming the most-streamed artist in a day, as well as the artist with the most-streamed album in a day on the platform. Both records were achieved thanks to the pop star’s newly released studio album 11 titled The Tortured Poets Department.
Taylor currently has the three most-streamed albums in a day in Spotify’s history, which are The Tortured Poets Department, Midnights and 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Before releasing the new album, the female singer also broke the record for the album with the most saved countdown pages in history.
Achieving a new feat in just one day is not too surprising to fans as they have been looking forward to it since the singer born in 1989 made the announcement. And what’s even more surprising is that Taylor released 15 more songs just 2 hours after releasing the album, which means the album has a total of 31 completely new songs.
Among these songs, fans discovered that the Grammy Award-winning star was inspired by his relationship with his exes Matty Healy and Joe Alwyn. Along with that, some songs were also written about new boyfriend Travis Kelce with extremely sweet lyrics.
