Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” sets a Guinness World Record

Guinness World Records recognizes Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” as the highest-grossing tour of all time.

The Guinness World Records news site has officially posted about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour of the century, confirming that this is the highest-grossing music tour ever and the first. Exceeded the revenue milestone of 1 billion USD.

According to statistics from Pollstar, the tour started in March 2023 and has earned 1.04 billion USD to date. However, the tour will bring in even more money as it has not yet ended and will continue until December 2024.

For comparison, the tour of the singer born in 1989 was so popular that its revenue was more than the second and third highest-grossing tours this year combined. These two tours belong to Beyoncé and Bruce Springsteen.

Eras Tour was described by Taylor Swift as a journey through all of her musical “eras”, which is why she brought concerts lasting more than 3 and a half hours with a collection of 44 songs. The tour was not only well received by fans but also received many positive reviews from critics. Experts praised the concept, production quality as well as Taylor Swift’s performance.

According to estimates, each concert attracts about 72,000 attendees with an average ticket price of 238 USD. Thus, this pop star is currently earning more than 17 million USD for each of his performances.
