49ers’ Chase Young dubs Brock Purdy as the best quarterback in the league ahead of the Packers playoff game

Purdy will have a face off against Jordan Love in the divisional round.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has received loads of love and appreciation from the fans and analysts this season. He has broken multiple records, but the most satisfying part of this NFL journey for him will be the continuous support he has got from his teammates.

Be it Christian McCaffrey or the wide receiver Deebo Samuel, everyone accepted Purdy’s greatness as their quarterback. The latest to join the tally is Chase Young, the defensive end of the team, to openly praise his QB.

Brock is that dude--He's probably the nicest guy in the locker room, the chillest guy. He just goes out there and throws that ball… He's a confident guy.
I feel like most confident guys know how to keep their composure, so I feel like that just comes natural for him… best quarterback in the league. I'm happy he's on my team.

Getting tons of appreciation from teammates is now becoming a habit for the clutch quarterback who has done everything to clinch a spot for his team in the postseason. The quarterback broke multiple franchise records in terms of making it to the Pro Bowl for the consecutive second time and covering the most number of passing yards in a single season. In addition, the QB registered 31 passing touchdowns against 11 interceptions in 16 games, a performance that would be cherished by the Niners’ fans.

Despite achieving all this, Purdy remained humble. Few weeks back he gave his flowers to the 49ers teammates for his success.

Purdy is gearing up for the Jordan Love challenge

The Green Bay Packers produced one of the biggest upsets in wild-card round by beating the Dallas Cowboys. It was a shock to most of the people who expected an easy win for the Cowboys. The Packers are now up to the Niners.

Brock Purdy will have a test against the Packers’ defense. He knows that he has to perform well and can’t choke. His performance in the regular season won’t matter if he fails to perform in the playoffs. Hence, the QB will be cautious.

The Niners’ defense, which performed pretty well this season, will have the responsibility to stop Jordan Love. The defense performed badly against the Ravens and the Niners had a blowout loss. It can’t afford to perform like that against the Packers in the divisional round game on Saturday.
