The rapper shared an Instagram post on Tuesday that detailed how he’s “meditating” and can’t be “distracted”
50 Cent isn’t “into havin’ sex” and “ain’t into makin’ love” in 2024 it appears.
On Tuesday, the “In da Club” rapper, 48, shared an Instagram post where he revealed he was “practicing abstinence” this year.
50 Cent (whose real name is Curtis Jackson) shared three photos alongside a cheeky caption. In the first image, he’s pictured cradling a cigar in a lounge while in a gray, three-piece suit and striped tie next to a glass of what appears to be brown liquor, and in the second, his cigar is in his mouth and his blazer is over his shoulder while he’s showing off his shiny ring and watch. In the final photo, he’s seen back in his full suit, sipping on the aforementioned beverage.
“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level. @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi,” the hip-hop artist wrote, tagging the liquor brands he owns.
In December, it was revealed that 50 Cent’s production company — G-Unit Film & Television — would be releasing a documentary centered on Sean “Diddy” Combs and the sexual assault allegations he’s faced, per Variety.
The “21 Questions” musician announced the news on X (formerly known as Twitter) after a fourth allegation of sexual assault against the “I’ll Be Missing You” artist, 54, surfaced.
In 50 Cent’s post, he said that proceeds from the forthcoming documentary would go to victims of sexual abuse.
“Proceeds from this Documentary will go to victims of Sexual Assault and Rape,” 50 Cent wrote in a caption, along with a clip of the upcoming project.
The footage shared featured former Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry discussing how Combs and his crew would encourage dangerous party scenarios and how the “Coming Home” performer would allegedly drug bottles of champagne that women would drink from. In the clip, Curry claimed the women weren’t aware their drinks were spiked which made it “real, real slippery.”
Variety confirmed the documentary was in development in a statement from reps for 50 Cent and G-Unit Film and TV: “The untitled ‘Diddy’ documentary is in development through G-Unit Film and Television with Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson serving as Executive Producer, proceeds from this documentary that G-Unit Film & Television receives will go to victims of sexual assault and rape.
