“America is still sleeping on America’s team!” Skip Bayless backs Dak Prescott-led Cowboys to beat red-hot Eagles this week
Bayless believes Dak Prescott is the combination of Rogers Staubach and Troy Aikman, against the Eagles.
Skip Bayless, the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan, is all energized for the team, who soon is going to face their divisional rival, the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. From calling the quarterback ‘Hall of Shame’ to backing him with high praises, Bayless is finally satisfied with how things have been turning out for this team this season, standing at 5-7.
Well, NFL fever is indeed spreading all over the country, as both teams are filled with enthusiasm and goals to ace the game, as they face their divisional rivals. And NFL analyst Bayless isn’t hiding his excitement, as he threw his hands in the air supporting the Cowboys.
Bayless believes that the Cowboys are going to destroy the Eagles, which he expressed on the recent episode of Undisputed. While talking about the huge divisional matchup between the Prescott-led Cowboys and Jalen Hurts‘ Eagles, Bayless stood his ground, solely supporting the Cowboys as they have won five games out of seven this season.
Bayless said:
America is still sleeping on America’s team. I still don’t think most people will see the firepower that we will flex on Sunday. We have found ourselves. This is a deep and talented and potent football team that can just flat-out explode on people, the way went up to New York on opening Sunday Night and exploded all over on another divisional rival, the Giants.

He added:
I’m going to reiterate my biggest point of this week, I don’t love Dak Prescott in other big games outside of this division, but when he sees green, he goes into his comfort zone. When he sees green, he turns into the great Roger Staubach, who I still think is the greatest-ever Cowboys quarterback.
Moving forward, Bayless compared the Cowboys’ current quarterback with the former two legendary QBs, Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman. He believes Prescott turns into a “combination of Roger and Troy when he sees green when he sees Eagles.” He also pointed out that, currently within his division, Prescott is 28 and 7 as our starting quarterback against the NFC East. Against the East, he has thrown 61 touchdowns to only 19 interceptions.

While supporting Prescott and the Cowboys, Bayless also expressed high hopes for Cowboys jersey 87 worn by tight end Jake Ferguson, whose dandy move cost the Eagles’ safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson a 7-yard touchdown, last season.

America is still sleeping on 87, I think 87 is the key to this game because he plays tight end, and his name is Jake Ferguson.
He added further by showing the clip from last year, saying:
I want to quickly show you what he did to an ex-Eagles C.J. Gardner-Johson, last year in this game at Philadelphia.
Even with quarterback Cooper Rushett, the Cowboys were able to cut it to 20-17 early in the fourth quarter, which Bayless believes was remarkable. Although the Eagles won the game against the Cowboys at 26-17, last season, Ferguson’s 7-yard touchdown pass was considered amazing.
