Josh Allen denied putting all the blame on Tayler Bass after the Bills suffered a devastating loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Buffalo Bills were an inch away in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs. They could easily win as they led in three straight quarters. However, the Chiefs, who are known for their clutch drives, had another clutch moment in the fourth quarter, which sealed it for them.
In the last quarter, the Bills had an opportunity to tie the game with a field goal. They could have thrown the game into overtime.
Tyler Bass, the kicker, got the opportunity to seal it with a 44-yard field goal. However, he kicked but missed the shot. With that being said, the Bills had to accept another playoff defeat against the Chiefs.
In the post-game presentation, Josh Allen addressed the issue. He refused to play the blame game with Bass because he missed the shot. The QB had a staunch argument. He said that if a team manages a victory, then all the players make contributions to it. It remains the same when a team is losing.
I wish it wouldn’t have been put in that situation. You win as a team, you lose as a team. One play doesn’t define a game, it doesn’t define a season. I know people are gonna be out there saying that. We’ve got to be there for [Tyler], because (if) we execute a couple plays prior, we’re probably singing a different tune right now.Allen said
Despite having one of the weakest Chiefs squads with multiple offensive problems, the Bills failed to seal it on their home turf. In addition, the team lost all three playoff games that they had played against the Chiefs.
Devastating loss for the Bills believes Tony Romo
Analyzing the loss, former Dallas Cowboys player Tony Romo said that it was one of the most devastating losses that Josh Allen had to suffer. Despite acknowledging his brilliance, Romo also said that it would fall back on him.

This is going to be the most devastating loss, I think, of Josh Allen's career because they had things situated for an advantage. They were at home, they worked all year, playing great football, they were coming in, and they started the game great. They were running the ball, and for him, he played great today.Romo said.
Since the very beginning of the season, the Bills have played like a possible Super Bowl contender. They had a bad patch in the middle, but lately, they have found their form to make it to the playoffs as a division champion.
