Chris Russo snubs Tom Brady as he picks Patrick Mahomes as the ‘greatest’ quarterback he’s ever seen

Even with a bit of struggle in the form during the regular season, Mahomes has stepped again for his team in the playoffs.

The NFL world is arguing about who is the best between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes after the latter registered another playoff victory against the Buffalo Bills. Despite a not-so-good regular season, Mahomes came back staunchly in the postseason.

Mahomes outclassed the Buffalo Bills as well as the Miami Dolphins in consecutive two games. With this, the quarterback triggered the debate about who is best, him or Tom Brady.

Amid all the hot takes, analyst Chris Russo, known as the ‘Mad Dog’, chose the Chiefs’ QB’s side. In the recent byte of the ‘Mad Dog sports radio’, the analyst said that he had seen a lot of quarterbacks playing but none came close to Patrick Mahomes and his skills.

I am gonna say this repetitively, he is the best quarterback I have ever seen. I do not know what else to say. He is the best, Mahomes. He is the best quarterback I have ever seen. There is nobody better than his skills. He is unbelievable. In all the big games he played I can recall, he had one bare hand

The comparison between Mahomes and Brady has been a continuous buzz for the past few years. It is true that both have produced a lot of clutch moments in their careers and won multiple titles for their respective teams. In addition, both have been very dominant run throughout their careers.

Recently, Mahomes surpassed one of the records of Brady. He registered 13 playoff wins before turning 30. On the other hand, Brady had 12 wins before the QB turned 30.

Russo emphasized the clutchness of Patrick Mahomes

In his conversation, Mad Dog also talked about the clutch moments of Mahomes. He discussed how the quarterback made a mistake in the game against the Bengals nearly two years back and after that, he never repeated anything like that. According to Russo, the quarterback always provided his best in playoffs.

Cincinnati, two years ago, at Arrowhead, he had a terrible second half. He was frustrated that day and played very poorly. That was the only time in my lifetime, in his career, I have seen Mahomes mess up. Other than that he is mind-boggling good
Russo added

Last year, Mahomes was the league as well as Super Bowl MVP-Award winner. This season, he was not close to that form. But the quarterback can still take his team to the Super Bowl for the consecutive time and grab the Lombardi trophy for the third time.
