Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs subtly recruits his brother Stefon Diggs to Dallas amidst the reporter controversy in Buffalo

Trevon Diggs could not sit ideally by after what the reporter said about his brother.

Stefon Diggs is yet to respond to the unwarranted comments a reporter made about him for his media availability during a recent press conference, but his brother Trevon Diggs expressed his thoughts on the situation. The Dallas Cowboys cornerback took a slight jab at the situation and even threw in a suggestion for the Buffalo Bills receiver.

The Cowboys defender was not amused by the development, which comes shortly after the Bills’ disappointing loss to the New York Jets on Monday. He even advised his older brother to leave the Bills.

“Tuh! They turn on you so quick,” the 24-year-old wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Gotta get bro somewhere safe.”

The comments were apparently made by Bills team reporter Maddy Glab. While not every word is audible, it seems she was discussing how long Stefon Diggs would take to come out.

“There’s no control over Stefon Diggs,” Glab can be heard stating. “Dude’s going to do what he wants to do. He’ll look in my face and say, ‘Fu** you. That’s how he treats everybody.”

Maddy Glab apologized for what she said about Stefon Diggs

Glab’s comments went viral instantly, and more so after Trevon Diggs shared them on social media. Witnessing the tremendous backlash, she apologized a day later.

“I want to take ownership of what I said. I am very sorry for what I said and meant; no ill  will.” Glab shared a short recorded video message on her X account. She claimed to have massive respect for the three-time Pro Bowler. “I respect the hell out of Stefon Diggs, and he has been one of my favorite players to cover. He has great character and treats us with lots of respect. He has a playful relationship with our video department. That’s why I said he probably wouldn’t say yes to me grabbing him for an interview. I should not have said what I said, and I apologize for that. Stef is not in the wrong; I am.”

This new fiasco comes after Stefon Diggs’ time at the Buffalo Bills came under scrutiny. The 29-year-old was reportedly unhappy with quarterback Josh Allen and did not show up for OTAs and Minicamp. However, he did rejoin before the preseason began. But Allen’s poor performance in the 2023 opener against the Jets seemed to have reignited the trade calls. Could Trevon Diggs be hinting at something? Nevertheless, Stefon Diggs recently said on the Von Cast that people mistook the offseason chatter and that there were no talks of him leaving.
