Cowboys fanatic Skip Bayless CLAPS BACK at ‘Overhyped’ Micah Parsons for labeling him as a fake fan over his criticisms

Skip Bayless shared his take about Micah Parsons’ comments in recent episode of The Skip Bayless Show.

After the Dallas Cowboys suffered an upset loss against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs, they were criticized by many people, including the Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless. A few days after the loss, the Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons blasted Bayless over his criticism and questioned his loyalty to the Dallas-based football team.

And now, the Fox Sports personality has clapped back at the 2-time All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons, during a recent episode of ‘The Skip Bayless Show.’ In the episode, Bayless shared a story about making a music video for Parsons before claiming he overhyped the linebacker.

I got so carried away about Micah that I dared to put him in the same conversation as Lawrence Taylor... . I'll take the blame for this. I overhyped, I leaped before I probably looked.

And then, Bayless started to address Parson’s criticism about him being a fake Cowboys fan. Previously, Parsons had blasted Bayless using NSFW language on social media.

No Micah, I am not a fake fan. I’m actually opposite a fake fan… Well, I guess maybe Micah, you define a Cowboy fan as somebody, who will worship you blindly, no matter how poorly you perform. Maybe that to you is a real fan… The truth is I’m too real of a fan, the truth is I’m opposite of a fake fan because I’m a hard a** fan.

Bayless then went on to say how he is an overly demanding fan who wants the best for his team since he is used to seeing many dominant players representing the Dallas-based football team in the past. He also flexed his knowledge about Cowboys players’ history to prove that he is not a fake fan.

Micah Parsons missed out on first-team All-Pro recognition in 2023

The Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons just finished his 3rd season of his short-yet-remarkable career so far. In 2023, he missed out on securing a spot in the first-team All-Pro squad for the first time in his short career.

However, Parsons didn’t have a down season at all. Parsons, now an established pass rusher in the league, raked up 14 sacks (career high) despite being double-teamed a lot.

He is one of the main reasons the Cowboys’ defense ranked inside the top 5 in most of the defensive statistics for the 2023 season. However, he couldn’t help his team make it all the way to the Super Bowl.

But Parsons hasn’t lost any hope. In a recent social media post, Micah Parsons vowed to bring the championship title to Dallas in the near future.
