Cowboys fanatic Skip Bayless goes on a massive rant against Micah Parsons despite MVP-level NBA All-Star Game performance

Micah Parsons logged 37 points, 16 rebounds, and four steals to claim the MVP honor at the NBA All-Star Game.

It looks like Skip Bayless didn’t appreciate NFL players mixing up football and basketball. He called out the Dallas Cowboys star for celebrating winning the NBA all-star game MVP award in a three-minute rant on Undisputed.

Last Saturday, Micah Parsons led Shannon Sharpe’s team to a 100-91 win over Stephen A. Smith’s team in the 2024 Ruffles Celebrity Game.

On top of that, he also scooped up the MVP award for the game after dropping a stellar performance. The linebacker recorded 37 points, 16 rebounds, and four steals to claim the MVP honor.

Although it was a joyous occasion, it didn’t sit well with sports commentator Bayless. On Monday’s episode of FS1’s “Undisputed,” he expressed his displeasure over Parsons’ participation in the annual celebrity basketball game.

The Cowboys fanatic was mainly displeased because when Dallas most needed the linebacker, in the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, he logged the “single worst defensive stats of his entire career,” but in an all-celebrity basketball game, he ended up with the MVP award.

Micah Parsons in that game had the single worst defensive stats of his entire career in a playoff game. And now I'm supposed to stomach the fact that on a Friday night, I have to sit back on my couch and watch him in Indianapolis gloat and flex because he's dominating the celebrity All-Star game?

Unfortunately, participating in that game wasn’t the only thing that disappointed Bayless. He also expressed his distress over the fact that his favorite team’s linebacker, after failing his actual team, was celebrating the achievement of winning the MVP trophy, that too against “a bunch of actors, singers, and racecar drivers” who aren’t even close to Parson’s abilities.

And he's actually enjoying the achievement of winning the [MVP] trophy? He's savoring and flexing with the trophy after the game like he actually accomplished something?

The host of ‘Undisputed’ said on Monday. 

He condemned Parson’s celebration and even called it “shameful.” Moreover, he was also worried about the potential injury risk and the fact that he was ‘too good’ to participate in such a game.
