Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy hopes to get some luck from the Rangers following their mega run in the MLB World Series

Mike McCarthy has led the Cowboys to a 5-2 record so far this season.

The Dallas Cowboys are looking to win their first Super Bowl since 1996. They have always been the most talked about team in the NFL, but they haven’t achieved a lot of Super Bowl success in recent years. They are one of the contenders to win it all this year and their head coach Mike McCarthy is hoping to borrow some luck from another Texas-based team.

The Texas Rangers created history by winning their first World Series title this year. It was a fantasy run by a team that wasn’t even in the playoffs last year. They got into the postseason this year, won the ultimate game and dominated everyone on their way. McCarthy talked about the Rangers’ improbable run to the World Series title.

McCarthy said in his press conference on Thursday:

Those Rangers. Such an unbelievable run.“I think what really jumps out to me is winning the games on the road. Hopefully, we get a little luck from those guys there. That was a great series. A great playoff run.

The Rangers lost only four games in the playoffs and won the World Series, 4-1. The Cowboys would welcome all the luck they could get from the Rangers.

The Cowboys so far this season have won five of their seven games this season. Their latest win came in dominating fashion against a well-coached Los Angeles Rams team. They will look to continue their winning run against the Philadelphia Eagles in their next game on Sunday.

It’s top-notch. The value they place on their offensive and defensive lines through player acquisition is captain obvious. Tremendous amount of depth, there’s no drop-off as they roll guys in, and they have a good substitution plan. So yes, this will be a big challenge for us.

The Cowboys are coming off of two morale-boosting wins in their last two games. The Eagles will pose a much tougher challenge though, as they have a great roster and the best record in the league with seven wins and just one loss. It will be a fascinating game between the two sides.
