Dez Bryant recently sounded off on the trio during his appearance at The Pivot podcast.

The Dallas Cowboys trio of Tony RomoJason Witten, and Dez Bryant once used to be one of the best offensive trios in the league. However, several years after the trio split up, Dez Bryant recently sounded off on his former teammates and former head coach Jason Garrett. And now, Dallas’ legendary wide receiver Terrell Owens backs Bryant’s criticism of Romo, Garrett, and Witten.

During a recent episode of The Pivot podcast, Bryant shared how he felt that Romo and Garrett had something against him and wouldn’t feed him the ball.

A fan on the social media platform X tagged Terrell Owens on that post and wrote, “Didn’t Terrell Owens say the same about Romo and these dudes?” Owens replied to the fan and let the world know how he really feels about his quarterback.

I did! Romo, Witten and Garrett are snakes.

This tweet came as a surprise to many people since many thought Owens and Romo had a good relationship. Back in 2008, in a famous incident, Owens tearfully defended his quarterback Tony Romo following a tough playoff loss against the New York Giants.

Owens and Romo spent three years together in Dallas. Owens registered 1000-yard seasons in each one of them but was surprisingly released by the team after the 2008 season. At that time, the talented wide receiver said he was blindsided by his release since the team owner Jerry Jones assured him that he would remain with the team.

Bryant recently made an appearance on The Pivot podcast with Ryan Clark and others, where he talked about how he felt the Cowboys organization had something for him.

What do you do when you feel like the organization is against you? If your @dezbryant you just ball despite feeling that Tony Romo & Jason Garrett were not in his corner!

Bryant said that he had to beg Romo to throw him the ball, but Romo would target Witten more than him. The former All-Pro pass catcher also pointed out a specific game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, when he confronted head coach Jason Garrett and QB Tony Romo for not giving him enough targets.
Neither Garrett nor Tony Romo has addressed the situation yet.

Nonetheless, Bryant is one of the best receivers to ever wear the star on his helmet. For him to say that the organization had something against him has fans questioning Jerry Jones’ method of operating the organization.
