Cowboys’ Micah Parsons disrespects Tua Tagovailoa claiming even he himself could be Tyreek Hill’s quarterback

Micah Parsons made a case for Tyreek Hill to win the MVP award with a unnecessary claim.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been having a historical campaign in the ongoing NFL season. Apart from helping Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins to register 9 victories so far, Hill is also on pace for a record-breaking year. Amidst this, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons makes a case for Hill to bag the MVP award with a weird claim.

During a recent episode of Bleacher Report podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons, the Cowboys linebacker supported Hill to win the MVP award. However, he ended up unintentionally disrespecting the Dolphins quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.

I am talking crazy right now ... I truly believe I could be Tyreek Hill's quarterback. I could throw it up to Tyreek Hill. ...
This might be the crazy Madden side of me, but he's just that good.

By saying that even he could be the quarterback of Hill, Parsons brushed off all the work done by the former first-round pick Tagovailoa. The Dolphins quarterback has been remarkable in his 2023 campaign. His only problem is that he has thrown 10 interceptions already with 5 games still left for Miami. However, that’s bound to happen since the Dolphins are always looking for big plays.

While it’s true that Tyreek Hill has elevated Tagovailoa’s performance, one can’t simply shrug off the Dolphins QB’s arm strength and accuracy. Tagovailoa’s ball placement is one of the main reasons for his team’s offensive success in the last couple of years.

But Micah Parsons disrespected the young quarterback by looking past his achievements. In addition, Parsons also said the same thing about the San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.

Micah Parsons also disrespected 49ers QB Brock Purdy

Apart from Tua Tagovailoa, the Cowboys linebacker also dissed the Niners QB Brock Purdy by claiming even could distribute the ball around the 49ers’ strong offensive unit.

If I get the ball to Christian McCaffrey in space, he's gonna make something happen. He's gonna make a play for me. Same thing with Deebo [Samuel].

So Parsons eventually made a case for the All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill to win the prestigious award by dismissing quarterbacks’ achievements. His comments did not sit well with fans on social media and caused massive outrage.

Nonetheless, the Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and the 49ers QB Purdy are currently the front runners to win the MVP award. It is highly unlikely the league would give the award to a non-QB player, even if Hill registered 2000-plus receiving yards.
