Cowboys’ Micah Parsons reveals how he ‘took a shot’ pregame which eventually led to him throwing up during the Panthers game

Parsons said he had a bit too much of C4 before the Panthers games.

Micah Parsons said he was not sick during Sunday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers. He was seen throwing up twice on the sidelines. But according to him, it happened due to a mild overdose of C4 prior to the game, he took to suppress a slight tummy ache. It was just a pre-workout beverage—nothing too fussy.

During the post-game media rouns, the Dallas Cowboys‘ star linebacker spilled the beans to the press.

I got some water to help put it down. By the fifth play, it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. I felt like I was about to explode.

He also claimed that was the final time he would ever do something like that.

I just let everything out, and I’m never doing that sh*t again. I am sticking to my routine.

From the way he ran inside the stadium tunnel and probably headed for the bathroom, he did appear to be in some discomfort. And even during the interview, he looked a bit queasy, unlike the confident and outspoken Micah Parsons that football fans have come to admire.

Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland handed the Carolina Panthers their ninth loss of the season

Parsons’ bad stomach did not stop him from shutting down the Panthers’ offense. It was a welcome performance from the 24-year-old, who was completely silent against the Giants in the last game. Fortunately, the Cowboys offense is on song this season, and they won (49-17) comfortably.

Against Carolina, the Cowboy Nation saw the return of the player who was runner-up for the Defensive Player of the Year for two years in a row. He responded with 2 1/2 sacks, three QB hits, and two tackles for loss as Dallas ran out 33-10 winners at Bank of America Stadium.

Parsons on the day when he recorded his 10th sack of the season said,

I like it when people go against me a little bit. That always gets me a little bit more motivated.

Beside him was second-year cornerback DaRon Bland, who, according to Parsons, is having

a Defensive Player of the Year-type year. He should be a lock for All-Pro.

While Parsons put pressure on Panther quarterback Bryce Young, it allowed Bland to seek out wayward passes. And he capitalized on a loose one just a minute into the fourth quarter and ran 30 yards for his fourth pick of the season, which is tied for the single-season record.

The latest win means that the Cowboys are now firm favorites to finish in the top two of the NFC East. According to NFL.com, they are only behind the New Orleans Saints in the 5th spot for a place in the NFC play-off spot.
