Diggs will become a father for the third time in his life.

Trevon Diggs, 25, has much to prove when he rejoins the Dallas Cowboys active roster in the upcoming OTAs. But before that, the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback’s family grew. Diggs is reportedly set to become a father for the third time in his life.

He and influencer Joe Chavis, 35, announced that she was pregnant on Thursday. Diggs has two kids: Aiden, who was born in 2016, and Chosen, born in 2021. This will be Chavis’ third child as well. Her previous two kids were two different partners. Shai, whom she shares with rapper Bow Wow, and Hendrix, whom she shares with rapper Future.

Chavis shared a video wearing a bikini, showing off her growing baby bump, on Instagram.

Page Six wrote that during an exclusive interview in 2020, Chavis opened up about the misconceptions of having children with two famous men.

Oh, she’s a gold digger,’ or, ‘She’s just having these babies to secure a bag.’ I have always worked since I was 15 years old. I think that’s the biggest misconception, and it doesn’t bother me.

Why did Trevon Diggs miss most of the 2023 season?

The Dallas Cowboys selected Trevon Diggs, brother of Bills Stefon Diggs, in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Since then, he has played 47 times for the Star Helmets.

During his rookie campaign, Diggs finished with 58 tackles, three interceptions, one sack, and 14 pass deflections. He raised the bar of his performance the following year. In 17 games, he racked up a league-high 11 interceptions, earning him both Pro Bowl and All-Pro titles for the first time. Moreover, he registered 52 tackles and defended 21 passes.

Although his interception count dropped to just 3 in 2022, Diggs excelled in other areas. He made a career-high 59 tackles and 12 pass deflections. The consensus around the Alabama graduate was high for another outstanding year. However, before the week 3 game, he tore the Achilles on his leg, which sent him to the hospital, ending his season. Till then, he had only recorded three pass deflections, four tackles, and one interception.

Second-year corner Daron Bland took over from Diggs on the field. He had a good rookie year with 54 tackles, seven pass deflections, and five interceptions. But year 2 was a thing to behold. Bland racked up 69 tackles, 15 pass deflections, 5 pick-6s, and 9 interceptions. With Diggs and Bland, the Dallas Cowboys backfield is secured.
