Dak Prescott being investigated for se*ual assault following strip club parking lot incident from 2017

Dak Prescott faces himself amid legal turmoil after a woman residing in the Dallas Fort Worth area accused him of se*ually assaulting her and r**ing her back in 2017. The woman in question worked as a waitress at one of the establishments the quarterback frequently visited. While the quarterback has vehemently denied all the allegations, the police are doing their investigations to uncover the truth.
Dallas police have confirmed that they are investigating claims of se*ual assault against Dak Prescott. The incident is alleged to have taken place at the parking lot of XTC Cabaret, a strip club back in 2017. Prescott and his legal team wasted no time in counter-suing the victim and her attorney by accusing them of attempting to extort him and defame his name.
The police are simultaneously investigating those allegations as well. With this, the quarterback is involved in two investigations that revolve around him. The woman has demanded $100 million to settle with Prescott in exchange for foregoing pressing criminal charges and going public with her charges against him.

The accuser’s legal team has filed a criminal complaint against Prescott on her behalf. The investigation is being conducted by the Prosper Police Department. They have declined to share any specifics since the case is “in the preliminary stages and considered an active investigation.”

The criminal investigation could result in charges different from civil litigation. In the event of the statute of limitations restricting the filing of any civil claim for the se*ual assault, the criminal statute of limitations is likely to give the accuser more time to be brought in front of a criminal court. Prescott has not released a public statement with respect to these allegations as of yet.
The quarterback is currently heading into the last year of his four-year contract worth $160 million, which he signed in 2021. Prescott has earned a reputation for being a role model in the community of Dallas as he actively contributes to the betterment of society, an act for which he was awarded the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2022-23.
