“Dak Prescott should be in the MVP conversation,” Cowboys LB Micah Parsons puts up a strong case for his QB to deserve more respect

Dak Prescott has thrown seven touchdowns and just one interception in his last two games.

The Dallas Cowboys are 5-3 so far this season. They started the season on a bang but lost to their rivals, the San Francisco 49ers in blowout fashion. Since then, however, the Cowboys have been great. They beat the Los Angeles Chargers in their next game and then destroyed the Los Angeles Rams, 43-20 in their week 8 game. Their QB Dak Prescott had a great game against the Rams.

Although the Cowboys lost their week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Prescott had another solid game and almost led the Cowboys to a victory over their division rivals. Their star linebacker Micah Parsons feels that Prescott deserves more respect and that he should be considered in the MVP conversation. Prescott had 374 yards and three touchdowns against the Eagles.

Parsons said on his “The Edge” podcast:

Open your eyes, people! I think that Dak Prescott should be in the MVP conversation. If you’re looking at numbers, what he’s able to do, his efficiency, things like that, Dak Prescott is playing at an elite level. I think he needs to be talked about more, I think he will prove that through the end of this year, winning some big games and leading us to the playoffs.

Prescott so far this season has thrown for 2,011 yards and 13 touchdowns. He has five interceptions and a rating of 100.7 this season. The Cowboys will hope that Prescott leads them all the way to the Super Bowl this season. They will play their next game against the New York Giants on Sunday.

Micah Parsons calls Dak Prescott a ‘freaking warrior’

The Dallas Cowboys‘ week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles was the best game for QB Dak Prescott this season. Although the Cowboys lost, Prescott had 374 yards and three touchdowns and made some big plays. Cowboys’ LB Micah Parsons raved about Prescott after the game.

Parsons said:

Dak is a freaking warrior. There was multiple times I was like, ‘That’s Dak mother eff Prescott.’ He’s a dog. He a warrior. I have an unbelievable amount of confidence in him. I thought he had a great game. I think people need to put more respect on him. He outplayed everyone today.

The Cowboys will hope that Prescott continues his elite production this season. Since becoming their QB, Prescott has led the Cowboys to the playoffs multiple times but has failed to reach the Super Bowl. He will hope to change that this season.
