Jason Kelce feels that it is about time he got some recognition for being one of the sexiest men on the planet.

Jason Kelce has made the news for a positive reason this week. The Captain and Center for the Philadelphia Eagles was declared as one of the finalists for PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive honors. While Patrick Dempsey ended up winning the award, the mere fact that Kelce was considered as one of the finalists to win it was great by itself.

Jason Kelce is the people’s champion and on Prime Video’s TNF broadcast on the Eagles’ bye week, he shared his thoughts on being one of the finalists to win this award. Here’s what he had to say,

I don’t know how this all happened, but it’s honestly just another day.

Kelce had some jokes to go along.

My wife tells me all the time I’m the sexiest man in the world, so I’ve been wondering what’s been taking so long for this nomination to happen.

 

He went on to add,

It’s been a whirlwind, it’s been fun. It’s a win for plus-size bearded men all over.

Jason Kelce, being one of the top finalists to win this award, was a victory for him as it is not often that top magazines include plus sized individuals while awarding such honors.

Jason Kelce’s nomination broke stereotypes that in order to be considered as sexy, one needs to be lean and have single-digit bodyfat percentage. Kelce joked on and stated that he intends to become a lot sexier next year so that he can win.

It’s more about self-reflection. What could I have done to be better? How could I have been sexier? I don’t know. I did the best I could.
The Kelce brothers are at the peak of their popularity in the NFL. While Travis Kelce has been in the news for his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift, Jason Kelce has managed to get on the news for this reason.

Travis Kelce won the award for the Sexiest Athlete Alive by People Magazine, and Jason Kelce came in second on that list.
