Eminem Reignites 22-Year Feud with Benzino (and Drags His Daughter Coi Leray) on New Diss Track

Eminem has reignited his longtime feud with Benzino.

The rapper, 51, released “Doomsday Pt. 2,” which appears on Lyrical Lemonade’s new album All Is Yellow, on Friday. On the diss track, Eminem takes aim at rapper-producer Benzino, 58.

“What is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe / ‘Go at his neck,’ How the f— is that? / How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have / Arm so short he can’t even touch his hands / When they’re above his head doin’ jumpin’ jacks,” Eminem raps on the explicit song.

Eminem also calls out Benzino’s financial struggles (“all the debt you in”) and questions his sexuality, revisiting rumors that Benzino is gay because he was spotted with another man at a Red Roof Inn. And later, Eminem takes a shot at Benzino’s daughter, “No More Parties” rapper-singer Coi Leray, 26, rapping: “Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, aye?” (Leray has yet to comment, but on Thursday, she revealed her new record deal with Island Records and released her new single, “Wanna Come Thru.”)

In a 2022 interview with DJ Vlad, Benzino (born: Raymond Leon Scott) addressed his monetary issues and speculation about his sexuality. When Benzino and his wife were going through a separation, he moved back to Atlanta and stayed at a Red Roof in with a friend because, “I didn’t have a place to stay. My money was low. I didn’t have a car,” he said in the interview.

“The disappointing thing is, it’s like, ‘Oh, man,’ what’s he doing in a hotel with another man?’ I remember on tour, we slept in motels four-deep, head-to-foot. People have this thing where everything has to be a gay topic,” Benzino added at the time. “People try to say mean s— or whatever, but I found it not just funny but just like ridiculous that we’re at a stage now in life that if you’re in a hotel with a man that you have to be gay. Shout-out to all the gay people around the world, but Zino’s not in the club.”

Coi Leray attends the 2022 BET Awards at Microsoft Theater on June 26, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.

Eminem and Benzino first had beef in 2002, when The Source magazine — which Benzino co-owned — gave Eminem’s critically acclaimed album The Eminem Show a 4/5 rating. (Last year, Benzino finally admitted to blocking the record from a perfect score.) Over the years, their feud inspired multiple songs from each, including Benzino’s “Pull Your Skirt Up” and “Die Another Day” and Eminem’s “The Sauce” and “Nail in the Coffin.”
