“Get rid of that dad bod!” Patrick Mahomes aspires to play as long as Tom Brady despite getting mercilessly trolled for his fitness
Patrick Mahomes has two Super Bowl MVPs in three prior trips to the big game.
The Super Bowl LVIII is just a few days away. Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers are in Las Vegas for the big game. Patrick Mahomes and company are looking to win their third Super Bowl in six years, whereas the Niners are hoping to avenge their Super Bowl LIV loss to the Chiefs, back in 2019.
The Super Bowl Opening Night took place on Monday. It signals the official beginning of the Super Bowl week as players from both sides engage with media personalities and answer their burning questions. The Chiefs’ superstar quarterback also faced some tricky questions from the media, but the two-time Super Bowl champion handled them with ease.
Mahomes was asked about his “dad body” as well as wanting to play as long as Tom Brady. Mahomes said:
Doing work outside of the building. It takes taking care of your body. Eating healthy, trying to get rid of the dad bod that I got. But try to do whatever you can just to be healthy and go out there and be the best player that you can be.

Mahomes has a lot of experience in dealing with the media at this stage of the season. This will be his fourth Super Bowl appearance since his arrival in the league in 2017. The two-time MVP has already established himself as one of the greats with multiple Super Bowl victories and will look to add to his legacy on February 11 at the Allegiant Stadium.
Patrick Mahomes wants another Super Bowl instead of a ‘six pack’
Patrick Mahomes is one of the best QBs in the league, if not the best. He has led the Kansas City Chiefs to two Super Bowl wins and is looking to win his third this year. After the Chiefs’ win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game, Mahomes’ ‘dad body’ created a lot of buzz on the internet.

The two-time Super Bowl champion was asked whether he would want a Super Bowl or a six-pack on the Super Bowl Opening Night. Mahomes said:
Another Super Bowl for sure. I have a six-pack and it’s just under the dad bod. If you feel, there might be some skin there, but underneath that the six-pack is there. You just have to get real close and you have to squint a little bit and I think you’ll see it.

Mahomes had an efficient game against the Ravens. He finished with 241 passing yards and a touchdown while completing 30 of his 39 pass attempts. Mahomes has had a great postseason and will look to lead his Chiefs to another Super Bowl title.
