Gisele Bundchen discloses she gets ‘pushback’ from her kids following divorce with Tom Brady

The duo has two children, Benjamin and Vivian, aged 14 and 11, respectively.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady‘s split was one of the more shocking celebrity divorces that was unexpected. It has been almost two years since the duo parted ways, but she has been feeling the impact of the split to this day.

In her latest sitdown with Harper’s Bazaar, the Brazilian supermodel revealed that her children Benjamin and Vivian, aged 14 and 11 respectively, are not as inclined to listen to her as they did before..

Here’s what she said:

The way you make your room, the way you organize and make your bed is the way you’re going to do your life. If you’re not learning here and now, then when and with who? Sometimes, I get pushback. Especially because now they’re in two different homes and there are two different ways. But I feel like I owe it to my kids, because of what my mom taught me.

She is attempting to teach her children the basic lessons that go a long way when it comes to inculcating discipline within her children. These very lessons were taught to her by her mother and played a vital role in molding her and now she is attempting to pass them on to her children.

But it is not easy because they are now always with her. They spend their time between living with her and with their father, Tom Brady, so it is different for them too.

She went on to add,

You are where you come from. All those things that I learned as a kid are things that are in me. It doesn’t change. In many ways, it’s also what kept me safe, because my value system was so strong. 

However, despite these difficulties, Bündchen has no regrets about her split with Tom Brady.

I look into my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way…I wouldn’t change absolutely anything. 
She acknowledged that the last thing she had hoped for was a divorce but times got tough and she was forced to do what was best for her. Bündchen had a good run with Brady but as time went on, they grew apart, but despite her split from him, she has no ill will towards him.

He’s the father of my kids. So I always wish him the best. 

Following their split, a lot of rumors emerged suggesting that Gisele Bündchen was seeing her jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. The duo had been spotted together on multiple occasions and made a pre-Thanksgiving getaway to Costa Rica as well, along with her children.

Tom Brady, on the other hand, has been enjoying single life, he was briefly linked to Irina Shayk, but the duo was not in an official relationship.
