The NFL’s penchant for featuring Taylor Swift during broadcasts has generated jokes and commentary, and Tiki Barber appears to have reached his breaking point.

During a recent game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, Barber couldn’t help but notice how the camera consistently focused on Swift, who is dating Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce.

Speaking on Evan & Tiki on WFAN 101.9, the former New York Giants rusher expressed his frustration with this ongoing trend.

Barber’s irritation was evident as he recounted the moment, saying, “He scores a touchdown, and they pan immediately to Taylor Swift! Again? It’s not even Travis Kelce.

“Maybe it’s the Taylor Swift influence that has made me – I don’t want to say turn sour – but just be slightly annoyed with the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s also because they’re always here. After you’ve been somewhere for so long and have had the success they’ve had, it becomes inevitable.”

Swift was not the only familiar face in the crowd supporting the Chiefs during their game against the Bills.

Jason Kelce, Donna Kelce, Kylie Kelce, and even Cara Delevingne were all spotted cheering on Patrick Mahomes and his star tight end. Jason Kelce, in particular, garnered attention for his shirtless beer-drinking antics and enthusiastic cheers whenever his brother made a significant play.

Despite the festive atmosphere and memorable moments, Barber’s annoyance with the league’s focus on Swift remained unwavering. He concluded his rant with the question, “Why are you guys continuing to show Taylor Swift? The obsession is getting annoying. Why do we need to see her?”

The Chiefs managed to secure the win with Swift in attendance, continuing a trend where they have recorded eight wins and three losses when she is present.

The question now lingers: Will she be there when the Chiefs face the Baltimore Ravens in their next game?
