“I’m tired of people trashing my QB!” Cowboys’ Micah Parsons slams the media for criticizing Dak Prescott all the time despite 4-2 start to the season

Dak Prescott had 312 total yards and two touchdowns against the Chargers.

The Dallas Cowboys is the America’s Team. That tag brings a lot of scrutiny. Wins aren’t credited enough and losses are dissected thoroughly, limb by limb. No player understands this better than Cowboys’ starting quarterback Dak Prescott. He has been under the microscope since his rookie season in 2016. The attention on Prescott amplified after a poor 2022 season and has carried over to the 2023 NFL season.

The Cowboys are 4-2 and are doing well this season. Prescott, although not perfect, is having a soled season so far and was instrumental in the Cowboys’ latest win against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday. However, the doubters are yet to see a satisfactory performance from the seventh-year QB. Cowboys’ LB Micah Parsons called out the doubters and said that he was ‘tired of people thrashing my QB.’

“I just don’t condone the bashing of Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys and have the same energy for the [Philadelphia] Eagles.” Parsons said on his show The Edge. “We want the same energy for everybody, cuz there’s a whole bunch of bashing when it’s Dak Prescott but not the same when it’s the Eagles.” He concluded by saying, “Why is it that we are just scrubs and we’re nobodies and we’re all talk, but there’s 100 excuses for these other teams? I’m tired of people trashing my QB.”

The Cowboys needed a win against the Chargers on Monday after a humiliating week 5 loss to their arch rivals, the San Francisco 49ers. Prescott threw three interceptions against the Niners but was efficient against the Chargers and led his team to victory. The Cowboys will now play against the Los Angeles Rams on October 29 after a bye in week 7.

Dak Prescott talks about the Cowboys win against the Chargers

The Dallas Cowboys were blown away by the San Francisco 49ers in week 5. They needed a win against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday in their week 6 matchup to lift themselves up. The Cowboys and their QB Dak Prescott got that win and signal-caller talked about it after the game.

“S*** yeah, it was a must-win,” Prescott told the reporters after the game. “It’s early in the season but there is a huge difference between 3-3 and 4-2. We talked about after last week, not allowing this thing to landslide and obviously I think a win like this allows you to really close that book.”

The Cowboys will have this week off as their next game is scheduled on October 29 against the Los Angeles Rams. Prescott and the Cowboys will hope to continue this winning momentum and make a Super Bowl run this season.
