Now that his football season is over, Jason Kelce is embracing his role of supportive big brother!

The Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, is planning to attend the Kansas City Chiefs’ Sunday playoff game against the Buffalo Bills to cheer on his younger brother Travis Kelce, a source close to the Chiefs tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Jason will not be supporting the Chiefs tight end, 34 — and enduring Highmark Stadium’s freezing temperatures — alone, as his wife, Kylie Kelce, will also be in attendance, the insider says.

Jason previously teased his attendance at the upcoming game after his NFL season with the Eagles ended last week, when the team lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their wild-card playoff game.

While cleaning out his locker for the season on Wednesday, Jason was asked whether he would be at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. He told reporters, “I don’t know, that’s one of the beautiful things about the off-season, it’s unscheduled.”

“So, you know, obviously my brother’s still in the playoffs. I don’t get to watch him play very often,” he continued, adding, “Maybe I’ll get an opportunity to go watch one of those games this week.”

Since the Eagles’ exit from the playoffs, rumors and reports of Jason’s retirement from the NFL have circulated.

During a Friday press conference, Travis shut down speculation about his brother’s career, telling reporters, “It came out that he retired, and he really didn’t say any of that.”

“The end of [the Buccaneers-Eagles game], I think everybody kind of felt for him, knowing that he has been thinking about it a lot over the past couple of years. The documentary shows that. You don’t need to go around and ask anybody,” he continued.

Added Travis: “It’s been cool to see everybody appreciate who he’s been over the years this past week, but I think the big guy still got some football left if he wants it.”

During the most recent episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast, Jason said he is “not trying to be dramatic” about the decision — and said if he does choose to retire, fans can expect to hear the news straight from the source.

“I think when it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it will be done in a way that will be definitive, with respect to individuals who have meant a lot for me and what has led to the career I’ve had,” he said.

Perhaps the most memorable time Jason and Kelce spent time in the same NFL stadium was when they played against each other for the championship — and the Chiefs won the title — last year in Super Bowl LVII.

Their mom, Donna Kelce, recently said that watching her sons become stars since facing each other at the February 2023 matchup has been a great experience. “It’s been really surreal and it’s been a fun ride to be on,” she told PEOPLE.
