Jaylen Waddle discloses how DeVonta Smith got his mom tickets to this week’s Eagles-Dolphins game in a wholesome gesture

Jaylen Waddle joined Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show where he talked about Smith.

The Philadelphia Eagles led by Jalen Hurts will be taking on the Tua Tagovailoa-led Miami Dolphins in their much-anticipated week 7 game this weekend. The former Alabama teammates would look to outduel each other in what is expected to be an offensive shootout.

Ahead of the game, Jaylen Waddle reveals how his college mate and the Eagles wideout DeVonta Smith brought tickets to the Dolphins WR’s mom.

During a recent episode of the FanDuel show Up & Adams, the Dolphins wide receiver made an appearance and talked about his bond with his former Alabama teammate DeVonta Smith. Furthermore, he revealed that the Eagles WR got his mom tickets to the game in Philadelphia, but that’s pretty much the conversation they had in the last few days since Smith is busy doing father duties.

He gave my mom tickets to the game. That’s pretty much been it for real. . . you know he got a kid so he been just on daddy duties.

Waddle and Smith used to be teammates in college during their days at the University of Alabama. In fact, four star players from these two teams, Waddle, Smith, Hurts, and Tagovailoa, all used to be teammates.

Now, the duo of Tua and Waddle will take on the duo of Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith on Sunday. Both the Dolphins and the Eagles are tied for the best record in the league and the game between them has created a buzz around the league.

Jaylen Waddle needs to have a big game on Sunday

The Dolphins have a rough matchup ahead of them as they are scheduled to face one of the toughest defenses in the league, the Eagles. For Miami to stand a chance against the Philadelphia-based football team, they would want their big guns to fire on Sunday.

Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill are having a great start to their seasons. The All-Pro pass catcher Hill leads the league in receiving yards and touchdowns by a mile. But against the Eagles, Hill and Tua would need help from the Dolphins wide receiver number 2 Jaylen Waddle.

Waddle hasn’t had the greatest of starts to his 2023 campaign and has already missed a game due to concussion. Now, the former 1st round pick will look to register his first 100-plus receiving yards game in the ongoing season and help his team outscore the Philly-based football team in their week 7 game.
