The Dallas Cowboys lost their last two games against the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins respectively. Before their week 15 game against the Bills, the Cowboys were on a five-game win streak. However, their last two losses have dented the Cowboys’ hopes of winning the conference’s first seed. The Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones though, still believes that his team can make a deep playoff run this season.

Jones recently appeared on the radio show, 105.3 The Fan and spoke about the team’s last two games. The Cowboys were expected to continue their win streak as a lot of people picked them to beat the Bills in week 15. The Bills came out swinging though, and pinned the Cowboys to the mat. Jones still has belief in his team, despite the recent losses and the major reason for that belief is the team’s quarterback Dak Prescott.

I think Dak is the best he’s been in his career. He’s the reason for my No. 1 highlight.

Prescott has had a much better season than his previous one in 2022. Last year, the veteran QB led the league in picks as he threw 15 interceptions in a turnover-heavy season. However, the QB has fared much better this season and was in the MVP conversations before their last two losses.

Prescott so far this season has thrown for 3,892 yards, 30 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He has completed 68.4 percent of his passes and has a rating of 104.2. The Cowboys will hope to win both their remaining games to give themselves a shot at the conference’s top seed.

Jerry Jones calls out the officiating during the Cowboys-Dolphins game on Sunday

The Dallas Cowboys lost their week 16 game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. It was a close game, but the Cowboys weren’t happy with the level of officiating during the game. Both Micah Parsons and owner Jerry Jones called out the referees after the game.

Jones had a rather interesting take on the fact that there hasn’t been a single holding called on a player trying to block Parsons. Jones added on 105.3 The Fan:

They won’t call a holding penalty in a certain range of holding, usually, if they don’t think the player would’ve gotten to the quarterback to begin with.
Anything that just limits him should be a hold.

Parsons recorded 0.5 sack and two tackles during the Dolphins game. So far this season, Parsons has recorded 13 sacks and has two pass deflections. He has had a fantastic season and will look to add to that tally in the Cowboys’ remaining two games.
