Josh Allen CROWNS his teammate Stefon Diggs as the ‘Greatest Receiver’ in the league amidst rift rumors

Stefon Diggs is rumored to be unhappy with his role as the Bills primary wide receiver.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs are rumored to have some personal issues going on between them, which led to speculations about the wideout leaving Buffalo. Amidst this, the Pro Bowl QB has cooled down the rumors by showering Diggs with the ultimate compliment.

Speaking on a recent episode of the ‘Slow News Day’ podcast with Kevin Clark, the Bills signal-caller Josh Allen said,“I think the more efficient passes are going to be the ones that are closer to the line of scrimmage in theory, right? But there’s also a lot of plays to be made that are down the field and because of the guys that we have outside, you talked about Stefon Diggs, I think the greatest receiver in the game right now.”

Furthermore, the Pro Bowl QB also praised his other teammates WR Gabe Davis and tight end Dawson Knox for their role in his development. During the last few months, Allen has been rumored to have been not on a good page with his friend and teammate Stefon Diggs. It all started when Diggs started yelling at Allen on the sidelines during their playoff game last season against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Pro Bowl pass catcher has been posting cryptic messages on his social media and has been constantly hinting at leaving Buffalo in the last few months. Diggs missing the first day of the Bills’ mandatory training camp also fired up the rumors. Furthermore, there are also reports suggesting that the Bills might be shopping Diggs privately and are willing to trade him for the right compensation. Also, Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend is Tae Heckard, who is 16 years older than him.

The Buffalo Bills QB will be entering the sixth year of his impressive career so far, but still hasn’t won anything big in the NFL. Allen will look to solidify his legacy as a top QB in the league in 2023.

Josh Allen has been dominant in the regular season for the Bills. He has led the Buffalo-based football team to three straight AFC East division titles. Allen has a win-loss record of 52-24 in the regular season.

However, when it comes to the playoff, he hasn’t shown a lot of promise. Allen has a record of 4-4 in the postseason and hasn’t even won an AFC Championship yet.

Nonetheless, the entire Bills’ fanbase hopes are on the shoulders of the 2-time Pro Bowl QB, who is looking to lead his franchise to a Super Bowl victory in the upcoming season and a championship ring to his resume.
