LeSean McCoy brutally SLAMS Trevon Diggs for talking trash about his QB Dak Prescott citing Tom Brady’s example

The Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs recently sweared at Prescott during training camp.

Just a few days ago, things got a little heated between Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs after the cornerback talked trash about his quarterback during the Dallas Cowboys training camp. The heated moment warranted a lot of opinions about the Cowboys unit. And now, former Tom Brady teammate LeSean McCoy has shared his opinion about the whole incident.

“I played with Michael Vick, played with Tom Brady, played with Josh Allen, played with Patrick Mahomes, nobody on the team would even fix they lips to say something like that to the quarterback,” said McCoy during a recent episode of the Fox Sports show SPEAK.

Furthermore, he went on to say that this incident shows that Prescott’s teammates do not respect him and that they are tired of the media making Dak the face of the Dallas-based football team.

“Two things it tells me. One is, they don’t respect him and two is they are tired of everybody making him the face, the guy, and when we get into tight games, he is the one that blows the game for us,” said LeSean McCoy before questioning Dak’s leadership ability. “You talk to your leader like that? I don’t know.”

During Dallas’ training camp a few days ago, Diggs told Prescott to “Shut his b**ch a** up.” The incident didn’t elevate any further since Prescott walked away from the defender without any confrontation.

Furthermore, the Cowboys‘ DB Malik Hooker also chirped at Dak after intercepting one of his pass attempts. Nonetheless, Diggs responded to McCoy’s comments by posting “Sound dumb af.. saying anything” on the social media platform X.

Following the heated incident between the Cowboys’ star cornerback Trevon Diggs and Dak Prescott, the veteran QB addressed the media. Dak revealed that he doesn’t mind trash talks from his teammates during training camps.

In fact, the 2-time Pro Bowler said that he opens them for trash talk since he wants to make his teammates feel comfortable playing with him. He claims that it is his form of leadership.

Diggs, who recently signed a massive extension with the Cowboys, also shared a similar statement. The former All-Pro cornerback believes trash talks make practice sessions fun.

He also said that he has the utmost respect for his quarterback after crowning Dak as the leader of the Cowboys squad. Diggs and Prescott seem to be on the same when it comes to competitiveness.
