LeSean McCoy claiming Micah Parsons is already better than T.J. Watt disgusts Emmanuel Acho

Micah Parsons has played a pivotal role in the Cowboys’ 4-2 record this season.

Analyst Lesean McCoy is highly impressed by the Dallas Cowboys cornerback Micah Parsons, who has been great this season. He has set a bar of clinical defending and has become a threat to the opponents’ offense. Micah has been rock solid at the Cowboys’ defense and in the coming games he has to play a pivotal role. The Cowboys are relying a lot on him this season.

In a recent episode of the show, Speak, McCoy highly praised the 24-year-old linebacker. He said that Parsons, as a player, is better than T.J. Watt which disgusted his fellow panelist Emmanuel Acho.

TJ Watt is amazing, but it looks different with Micah. You can put Micah anywhere. You can put Micah at a stellar line back, you can put Micah outside. Micah might be the best dude on the team. This is weirdo,” the analyst said.

So many great players have played for the Steelers, right? Not anyone has been compared to Lawrence Taylor. They say Lawrence Taylor is the best player (line back) to play the game. But for you to compare this guy (Micah Parsons) in his second or third year tells us that this guy is someone. He is generational!” the analyst further added.

It’s accurate to say that Micah Parsons has drawn comparisons to Lawrence Taylor due to his outstanding performance for the Dallas team this season. He has been exceptional, particularly in light of the absence of his defensive partner, TreVon Diggs, who was sidelined with an Achilles tendon injury. With Diggs unable to return for the rest of the season, Parsons has taken on an additional workload to support his team.

Micah Parsons’ performance this season

Micah Parsons has displayed brilliance in five out of six games this season. The game against the San Francisco 49ers was an exception where he faced challenges. In these six games, he accumulated a total of 20 combined tackles and secured 5.0 sacks. Among those 20 tackles, nine were assisted tackles, while 11 were solo tackles.

The comparisons with Lawrence Taylor have certainly begun, but some believe that for Micah Parsons to truly fill Lawrence’s shoes, he might need to help the Cowboys secure a Super Bowl victory. It remains to be seen whether the Cowboys can clinch the Super Bowl title this season.
