Marcus Spears claims Dak Prescott is currently the best QB in the NFL despite Cowboys’ 6-3 record

Jerry Jones asserted QB Prescott should definitely be rewarded with the MVP title.

After the embarrassing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, the way quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have made the comeback, winning three out of their last four weeks, is truly remarkable. The quarterback has led his to an improved standing of 6-3, ranked second in the NFC East divisional.

Eyeing the progress and stats of the Cowboys’ star QB, many analysts have come forward calling him the best quarterback. On a recent episode of Get Up, ESPN analyst Marcus Spears also joined the queue, calling Prescott “the best quarterback right now in the league.

He ranked the quarterback “outside of C.J. Stroud,” the rookie sensation. Spears backed his argument with:

I love that Nick showed anticipation, he’s got back to being athletic. He’s got back to using his ledge, you have to.

Moving forward, the Swagu clarified that he ain’t calling Prescott the best quarterback in the league, but “he’s playing the best quarterback right now.” He then brought up the MVP conversation racing, mentioning how Stroud is already in it, but so does Cowboys’ QB Prescott, saying:

The man has thrown..a thousand yards in the last three weeks.

The ESPN analyst believes the quarterback has been playing more well and freely and “using all of his tools,” rather than focusing on being something. Based on the past few weeks, QB Prescott has literally been great and near the top of many passing categories stats.

What are the odds for Dak Prescott in the MVP conversation?

The analyst Marcus Spears isn’t the only one who thinks Prescott should be in the MVP conversation. With Prescott-led Cowboys improving each week and moving upward, owner Jerry Jones has asserted his great confidence in the star quarterback and thinks, he should definitely be rewarded with the MVP title.

Statistically, in the last four games of the Cowboys, Prescott has played some of his best games, logging 12 touchdowns. The touchdown to interception ratio this season is quite good at 17-6.

If the bizarre game against the 49ers had been removed, the quarterback would have a brilliant outlook with 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions. However, there are around eight games remaining this season with some of the strongest teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions and many others.
