Maxx Crosby teases Tom Brady’s comeback for the Raiders once more despite the legendary QB making his retirement intentions clear

Tom Brady is set to buy a minority share of the Las Vegas Raiders and will become part owner of the team.

Tom Brady retired from the NFL in February and has also confessed that this time, it’s for good. However, there are some who would love to see him back in action.

Brady’s retirement completely shocked the NFL world as the legendary QB bid an emotional farewell after playing for 23 years. Now, the 45-year-old had diverted his attention toward the business side of the game.

Recently, Brady brought a minority share in the Las Vegas Raiders and since then, the rumors of his return have increased substantially. Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby gave his own assessment on the podcast with Buffalo Bills’ Von Miller.

“Obviously, we’ve got Jimmy G. He’s coming back, he’s gonna be healthy. But you never know what’s gonna happen. Tom Brady is a competitor,” Maxx Crosby stated on the podcast. “At the absolute worst, if everything doesn’t go the way it’s supposed to and we need him, I would not be surprised if Tom Brady shows up in a Raiders jersey.”

Crosby believes Jimmy G’s fitness will be an integral factor to determine the chances of Tom Brady returning in the NFL. Despite all these rumors, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB has clearly denied his intention to play in the league ever again.

The Las Vegas Raiders are a troubled organization where nothing is going right for them. However, Tom Brady buying a minority stake has been a ray of light for the team.

Still, the 7-time Super Bowl winner has admitted that he’ll play a passive role in the team due to his other commitments. Brady signed a humongous $375 million deal with Fox Sports to work as their broadcaster.

“This is something that I’m interested in doing for the rest of my life,” Tom Brady told the Associated Press. “This is not something that I’m into it for a year or two years. You know, I’ve got a lot of responsibility with my Fox job, which I take very seriously. But if I’m looking over the course of my life, to have the opportunity to be involved in the NFL is a dream come true.”

It seems highly unlikely that Tom Brady will ever suit up to be a professional NFL QB. He has established himself as the greatest of all time. Now it’s time for him to enjoy his retirement and focus on different ventures.
