NBA world reacts as 50 Cent and Lil Wayne coach opposite at All-Star celebrity game

Team Shannon will go against Team Stephen A in the 2024 edition of the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity game.

The basketball world is waiting with bated breath for the upcoming All-Star weekend. The All-Star rosters have already been announced by the NBA. Today, the league announced the rosters for the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity game. They also announced the coaches for the All-Star Celebrity. Each team has three coaches. This includes an ESPN analyst, an athlete, and a celebrity. The celebrities chosen were rappers 50 Cent and Lil Wayne. Basketball fans cannot get enough of that announcement.

The fact that these two rappers are included as assistant coaches has been met with a lot of humor. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Lil Wayne are highly accomplished musicians in the rap music industry. But they do have a history of getting high on substances, as well as run-ins with the law. Although both Cent and Wayne are now mature and out of such issues, fans wonder how they will behave in front of the cameras.

The two teams are coached by ESPN analysts Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith as head coaches. Sharpe will get 50 Cent as well as NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning as assistant coaches. Whereas Stephen A. Smith will get Lil Wayne as well as two-time WNBA Champion A’ja Wilson as assistants.

The NBA All-Star Celebrity game will be held on Friday the 16th of February. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at 7 PM Eastern Time. Hosted in Indianapolis, the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity game will be a must-watch for fans considering who the coaches are and also the roster of celebrities this time.
