Nick Wright claims the Cowboys will comfortably beat the Eagles this week despite Philly’s superior 10-2 record

Wright claimed that the Cowboys will roll over the Eagles.

On Monday night, Dak Prescott will lead the Dallas Cowboys to a rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles. Nick Wright believes that the Cowboys are the overwhelming favorites over the Eagles.

Dallas is on a four-game winning streak that began after the Eagles’ loss. Philadelphia, on the other hand, will be coming off a 19-42 blowout at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. Not only that, it’s an Arlington game where Mike McCarthy has yet to taste defeat in 2023. Moreover, they are currently unbeaten in 14 at AT&T Stadium.

I think Dallas wins, and I think it’s not even close. Dallas at home and Dak in his career since Nick Sirianni took over is a recipe for the Cowboys to roll the Eagles over.

Prescott has faced the Eagles on 12 occasions, winning eight times. The 30-year-old has won all six games with an average of 41 points per game (second best in the Super Bowl era behind the 2011 Saints).

Against Nick Sirianni‘s Eagles, Prescott has won three in four games (losing earlier in the season). He completes around 74.1% of his passes against Philadelphia and has 14 touchdowns. The most interesting stat is that none of the Eagles’ cornerbacks (Darius Slay, James Bradberry, or Reed Blankenship) except Kevin Byard has ever caught an interception from the two-time Pro Bowler.

Nick Wright believes that Dak Prescott will find spaces in the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense

The Eagles may be 10-2 for the season, but the majority of their wins were one-score victories. It means the opposition could have easily snatched the game away with either a touchdown or a field goal. Cowboys-Eagles’ last meeting ended in a narrow 5-point win for Sirianni’s men.

Phillies defense might be turning into a few break dances. That defense has not punched anybody for quite some time. If Jalen Carter or Fletcher Cox are not getting home up the middle, then it is going to be hard to play. That defense can be had.

Philadelphia is currently the 22nd-best defensive unit in the league, despite the success of the tush push. They give away an average of 350.6 yards per game and have conceded 36 touchdowns this season. On the other hand, the Cowboys have the 5th-best offense, scoring 44 touchdowns (2nd most) while averaging 380.4 yards.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Dallas Cowboys are 3.5 favorites over the Philadelphia Eagles. In overall history, these two NFC East rivals have played each other 129 times, with the Cowboys leading 70-55 in the regular season and 3-1 in the postseason.
