Reports of Brett Favre saying ‘Taylor Swift is using Travis Kelce for publicity’ are fake, sources confirm

A fake tweet on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stirred controversy recently.

On a busy Tuesday night, a tweet stirred a heavy controversy on social media. It was written on the tweet that Brett Favre claimed Taylor Swift, the billionaire pop singer, is using her partner Travis Kelce, for her purpose. The purpose is simple. Money and fame.

Though Favre did not tweet from his official account. It was tweeted by Brian Krassenstein, who claimed that Favre made this statement. Nonetheless, it created a heavy discussion point among NFL enthusiasts.

Kelce and Taylor Swift’s dating scenario no longer remained a rumor. They both announced their relationship publicly. Swift has become a newfound fan of the Kansas Chiefs and graces the Arrowhead Stadium with her presence. In the recent wild card game against the Miami Dolphins, she was spotted in the Swag Surf move to celebrate the success of the Chiefs.

In this context, the tweet was expected to create a hue and cry. And it did. Nonetheless, it was clear that Brett Favre did not make that statement and the tweet that came from Krassenstein was fake. An article by Sports Illustrated claimed that Krassenstein, an account with 800,000 followers, was duped by a parody account and hence the Tweet took place.

The Tweet got deleted later.

The claim was shocking. A woman like Taylor Swift, who holds billions of dollars as her networth (more than Kelce by a huge margin) needed Kelce for more. The popularity claim was also vague. A child would laugh to hear that Swift is not popular across the world.

Contrary to the fake news, Brett Favre is sympathetic towards Taylor Swift

Brett Favre did make some claims recently about Taylor Swift. But it was not that Swift was using Kelce. Instead, he said that the Chiefs fans would hold Taylor Swift scapegoat if the Chiefs failed to make it to the Super Bowl this year.

The Chiefs fans have been loving the presence of Taylor Swift. They enjoyed seeing the pop star dancing and cheering the success of the Chiefs as well as her partner, Travis Kelce. Kelce and Swift are serious about their relationship and there are strong speculations of both settling together soon.
