Ryan Clark believes the Ravens will become Super Bowl champions if Lamar Jackson continues to play like he did against the Lions

Ryan Clark was impressed by Lamar Jackson’s monstrous performance against the Detroit Lions.

Lamar Jackson put up a mind-boggling stat line against the Detroit Lions last night. The quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens went all out and had 357 yards passing along with 3 touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown. As a result of his nearly flawless game, the Ravens walked all over Detroit and beat them 38-6. Jackson’s performance convinced fans that he was worth every penny that the team paid him in the off-season.

ESPN’s Ryan Clark was over the moon after witnessing Lamar Jackson‘s performance last night. The analyst went as far as to say that yesterday’s performance was Jackson’s best game to date.

Lamar Jackson was perfect through those first three plays and I feel like that was the start they needed as a team and as an offense and then it just continued to snowball. If Lamar Jackson plays this way, he is absolutely an MVP candidate but more importantly, the Baltimore Ravens are Super Bowl favorites.

That is some serious praise considering that he was the MVP a few seasons back and had the greatest season for a quarterback in terms of rushing yards since Michael Vick.

Lamar Jackson’s chemistry with his new receivers is finally bearing fruit for the Ravens

Clark believes the Ravens got their offense right yesterday. Jackson has now developed some solid chemistry with Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers, and this has led to the team’s offense firing smoothly on all cylinders.

It was the perfect mix of what Todd Monken wants to do with Lamar Jackson and him elevating his play.

Clark had picked the Ravens to make the Super Bowl before the commencement of the regular season, but after seeing the Ravens play through the first couple of games, he was reluctant to stick with his prediction of the team reaching the Super Bowl.

I backed off that because I wasn't seeing the progression of the offense.

The key to the Ravens winning games is for Lamar to throw the ball. In games where he has had 0 passing touchdowns in this season, his team has lost, the exception being the Houston Texans game. This season, when Jackson has averaged under 7 yards per pass attempts per game in terms of passing, his team has lost.

Baltimore can thrive when its quarterback throws the ball and takes full advantage of the offense. If Lamar continues playing like he did last night, no team can stop Baltimore from reaching the Super Bowl.
