Skip Bayless predicts Lamar Jackson’s Ravens will win the Super Bowl this season by defeating the Cowboys

Bayless has been a Cowboys fan for more than 60 years.

Skip Bayless on Fox Sports’ Undisputed is peak sports television. He has some of the wildest takes in sports history, and he sticks to them like glue. Bayless is known for his love for the Dallas Cowboys. He frequently talks about them on the show and has been a supporter of them since the very beginning.

On his recent show, however, Bayless surprised everyone and picked the Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl against his beloved Dallas Cowboys. A self-proclaimed delusional Cowboys fan, Bayless gave the reason for not picking the team he supports to win the Super Bowl. On the latest episode of the Undisputed, Bayless was with two former Cowboys in Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin.

“I am a delusional Cowboy fan. This team is as loaded as it’s ever been. This team won the offseason.” Bayless said about the Cowboys. The Cowboys signed DB Stephon Gilmore in the offseason. Gilmore is a former Defensive Player of the Year for the New England Patriots. “When you and get Brandin Cooks for virtually nothing and you put serious deep threat opposite CeeDee Lamb it takes some off it.” He further continued that the Cowboys’ have a great overall roster. So why doesn’t he pick them to win the Super Bowl? “I’m not going to jinx my Cowboys by saying they’ll win it all.”

The Cowboys are one of the strongest teams in the NFC and are expected to make a deep playoff run. They lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round last season. QB Dak Prescott had a terrible 2022 season and will be hoping to have a bounce-back year. They begin their season against the New York Giants on September 10.

Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe ran Undisputed together for seven years. They had some great segments together and were one of the best pairings in the sports media world. Earlier this year Sharpe announced that he will be leaving Undisputed and Fox Sports this year, ending his seven years with the network. He recently joined ESPN’s show First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith.

Bayless replaced Sharpe with three former NFL players Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin. He called it his ‘dream team.’ They will be seen together debating on the show. Johnson and Irvin were both let go by ESPN recently as they were two of the 20 on-screen personalities that were let go by the network as part of ESPN’s cost savings.

The ratings war between Fox Sports and ESPN will be an interesting thing to follow this season. Both First Take and Undisputed have new faces and it will be fascinating to see how everything pans out.
