Skip Bayless puts Cowboys QB Dak Prescott in his ‘Hall of SHAME’ while mocking him for his persistent failures

The Cowboys’ star QB Dak Prescott is entering the 8th season in his NFL career.

The veteran quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will be competing for the Super Bowl in the upcoming NFL season. Experts believe Prescott can lead the stacked Cowboys roster to championship glory in his 8th season in the league. Amidst this, long-time Dallas fan Skip Bayless has bashed Prescott by putting him in his ‘Hall of Shame.’

During the recent episode of Fox Sports’ The Skip Bayless Show, the renowned NFL analyst answered a fan question about whether the Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is a Hall of Famer. Bayless didn’t hold back in his answer.

“Right now, Dak Prescott is in my Hall of Shame,” said Bayless. “He’s so far from Hall of Famer. I mean, Dak Prescott is now two and four in the postseason. He’s had his moments. He’s made two Pro Bowls. That was his rookie year when Zeke had a whole lot to do with it. And that was 2018 when the arrival of Amari Cooper had a whole lot to do with it.”

Bayless even went on to say that he would be comfortable if the Cowboys’ backup QB Cooper Rush took over the starting signal-caller job for a few games as he did back in 2022 when Dak was injured.

“I watched Cooper Rush take over for five games for Dak Prescott and run the offense more efficiently and effectively than Dak ever didI’ll be real comfortable this year if Cooper Rush is forced to take back over for X number of games, I’ll be real comfortable because he is the real deal,” said Bayless.

Rush started 5 games last season for the Dallas-based football team while Prescott was injured. In the 5 games, Rush had a 4-1 win-loss record while registering 1051 passing yards and 5 touchdowns.

The 2-time Pro Bowl QB Dak Prescott has been the franchise leader of the Cowboys for the last 7 years. He still hasn’t even come close to winning the Super Bowl for the Cowboys.

Prescott has had a good supporting cast around him for the majority of his career. Furthermore, he has performed well in the regular seasons, but Prescott and the Cowboys are still struggling to succeed in the playoffs.

The 30-year-old QB has a playoff record of 2-4 and still hasn’t even reached the NFC Championship game. But this season, it could be different. The Cowboys have one of the best rosters in the league right now.

However, it will all come down to their franchise QB Dak Prescott and his ability to perform at a high level in big games. If he can do that, then the Cowboys would have a shot at winning the Super Bowl in the upcoming NFL season.
