The Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has been receiving a lot of criticism due to the team’s constant playoff failures. Experts have been questioning Jones’ way of handling things. Amidst this, the veteran GM claims he will be around the team for a long time.
During a recent press conference at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones fielded questions from reporters. According to The Athletic’s Jon Machota, the 81-year-old said he is going to be with the team for a long time despite the criticism.

So, it seems like Jones is not thinking about stepping down from his duties with the Dallas-based football team. However, Jones certainly wants to lift the Super Bowl trophy once again as soon as the 2024 season. Jones once again emphasized going all in next year to win the championship title. The Cowboys owner believes they can go all in next season, even with the salary cap complications.

The Cowboys owner also addressed questions about Dak Prescott‘s future. Prescott will be entering the final year of his contract and will carry a salary cap hit of $59.4 million. Jones believes the Cowboys can take care of every issue even if they fail to address Prescott’s massive cap hit. It will be very tough to do it, so everyone expects Jones to extend Prescott to add void years.
