“They haven’t won a game against a quality opponent!” Keyshawn Johnson undermines Cowboys’ ‘blowout’ victory against the Rams

Keyshawn Johnson urges Cowboys fans to pump the brakes on the Super Bowl hype train as their team has yet to win against a competitive squad.

The Dallas Cowboys have had a rollercoaster of a season so far. The team has won five games and lost two. While this record may sound good on paper, it is not that big of a deal as the victories have come against some of the worst teams in the NFL.

The combined record of all the teams that the Cowboys have beaten to date this season is 14-24, which makes it evident that they are not good football teams.

Keyshawn Johnson of Undisputed on FS1 was not impressed with the Dallas Cowboys commanding 43-20 victory against the Los Angeles Rams. The analyst had picked America’s team to win this game, as they are a much superior team to the Rams.

Johnson pointed out that Dallas was expected to win this game with Matthew Stafford leading the Rams. The QB suffered a thumb injury in the game and was replaced by Brett Rypien, which made the game much easier for Dallas to win.

Keyshawn will be sold on the potential of this Cowboys team if they are able to win their next game. He said:

A win is a win is a win, I get that but the real test is coming this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles. You are yet to win a game against a quality opponent.

The Eagles are the biggest challenge for the Cowboys in the NFC East, as the team has lost just one game this season and has been playing football at an elite level.

Keyshawn Johnson dubs this week’s Dallas Cowboys matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles as the team’s true test

The analyst is not ready to buy into the narrative that the Cowboys are legit Super Bowl contenders this season. Keyshawn goes on to add:

You couldn’t tell me one defensive back that the Los Angeles Rams have, you cannot give me one nameIt’s great but I’m not getting ready to send them to Vegas based on that. Dak Prescott played really good football but he always plays good football against these type of opponents.

Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott had himself a night to remember as he threw for four touchdowns and had one interception. However, the issue with Dak has been that he becomes Tom Brady against underperforming teams, and when he plays against divisional rivals or superior teams, he performs like Caleb Williams as he comes up short in clutch moments.

Keyshawn Johnson concludes by stating:

I’m going to give you the W, you can take it and run to Vegas if you want to with it but I’m just telling you, when real opponents come, that’s the real test. You are yet to beat a real opponent.

Dak Prescott will have to show up against the Eagles, and the Cowboys will need to win that matchup in order to prove that they mean business this season.
