Travis Kelce couldn’t stop laughing over girlfriend Taylor Swift getting ‘Punk’d’ by Justin Bieber in 2012

Travis Kelce said he gotta ask his ladylove, Taylor Swift about this prank.

Those who have been a real Taylor Swift fan can never forget the epic Punk’d episode from twelve years ago. Well, to everyone’s surprise– so can’t her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce. It’s been over a decade but Swifties are still laughing and if the recent episode of the New Heights podcast is any evidence, so is Kelce.

In the recent appearance of the New Heights podcast hosted by the Kelce brothers, they had a guest appearance by The Ricky Stanicky star, who recalled how he and Swift’s former friend and Canadian singer, Justin Bieber tricked her.

It happened back in 2012 when the pop sensation made a special appearance alongside comedian Andrew Santino on Ashton Kutcher’s prank show. Santino along with Bieber pulled off an elaborative prank on the 14-time Grammy winner, as they convinced her that she destroyed a wedding.

Taylor Swift fireworks prank at a Malibu wedding

What happened was, that Bieber convinced the “Lover” singer to set off fireworks saying, “I have these fireworks from Japan … Let’s set them off.” But of course, Swift wasn’t totally in sync with the plan as she initially denied. However, eventually, when she did agree, the ‘fake’ fireworks appeared to destroy a private wedding in Malibu.

The groom in that wedding ceremony was, of course, Santino who shared with the NFL tight end how he went back and yelled at Swift for running his wedding. After that prank, the pop icon said that it “absolutely traumatized and terrified” her, in a conversation with CMT.

There was a wedding party. I was the groom, and we were dinghy-ed to shore with our boat on fire, and we blamed her for ruining our wedding.

said Andrew Santino during the podcast.

Filled with guilt and teary eyes, the 22-year-old Swift then tried to assure the fake bride that the fireworks destroying the wedding is not a “sign” to call off the entire wedding. Upon hearing the comedian describing everything, the Kansas City Chiefs star, who clearly remembered the episode, couldn’t stop laughing and said he gotta ask his ladylove about this prank.
