Travis Kelce sends Taylor Swift fans wild by singing her song on podcast

Travis Kelce has been dating Taylor Swift since last year – and the successful Kansas City Chiefs tight end is not afraid to show his love for the pop sensation in public

Travis Kelce sent Taylor Swift’s fans into a spin when he sang one of her tracks on his top-rated podcast.

Kelce and Swift, both 34, went public about their relationship last year in September. They quickly became one of the most popular celebrity couples in the United States, as she was spotted cheering him on at Kansas City Chiefs games.

The tight end is not shy to express his emotions for Swift. He gave a kiss on the field after the Chiefs’ victory against the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl LVIII. He was also spotted singing her greatest hits in nightclubs after their latest triumph.

But this time, the NFL hero took his love for Swift even further. On the latest episode of ‘New Heights’ – the popular podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason – he starting singing some lyrics from ‘Bad Blood’. The song charted at No.4 in the UK in 2014.

Kelce referred to ‘Bad Blood’ while speaking of Kenny Pickett’s offseason change from Pittsburgh Steelers to Philadelphia Eagles. Pickett moved across Pennsylvania to create a space for two new quarterbacks in Pittsburgh: Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

Chiefs star Kelce said on his podcast: “He just can’t leave the state of Pennsylvania. He just can’t leave the state of Pennsylvania. Kenny and the Steelers, their relationship ended in a little ‘Bad Blood’. Kenny is saying he preferred to move on.”

Pickett, 25, was chosen by the Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft after a standout performance at the University of Pittsburgh, where he came third in the Heisman Trophy vote. He started 24 games during his two-year stint with the Steelers.

It’s thought that Pickett chose to leave the Steelers after learning about Wilson’s move to Pittsburgh on social media a few days earlier. Wilson, a 35-year-old Super Bowl winner, will be the starting quarterback for the Steelers in 2024, with Fields as his back-up.

Pickett is also expected to serve as a back-up quarterback behind Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia. Despite the negative chatter surrounding his trade, he’s not letting it get to him. “I handled it the way I should’ve handled it,” Pickett told reporters on Monday. “I’m excited to be here. It worked out so well that Philly is the place I ended up landing in. I think everything happens for a reason and I’m right where I’m supposed to be.”

While there seems to be some tension between Pickett and the Steelers, Kelce’s relationship with Swift appears to be getting stronger. The three-time Super Bowl champion’s singing has been a hit among Swift’s fans on social media.

“I love him, Joe (Alwyn, Swift’s former boyfriend) would never (sign one of her songs),” one fan wrote on X, while another added: “Travis Kelce belting out Bad Blood unprovoked on New Heights – HE’S ONE OF US FR (for real).”

Kelce is doing great in football too. The Chiefs have won the Super Bowl three times in the last five years. They might even become the first NFL team to win three times in a row, which people call a three-peat. Everyone is looking forward to the new season to see if the Chiefs can win again… and if Taylor Swift will be there to watch.
