UFC stars with most title fight wins including Jon Jones, Rousey and Aldo… but Conor McGregor nowhere to be seen

CONOR MCGREGOR thinks he’s the second best UFC fighter of all time – but these stats say otherwise.

The outspoken Irishman upset a whole host of his rivals days ago when he claimed to be No2 on the GOAT list.

It might have surprised some that the brash Dubliner put himself behind Brazilian legend Anderson Silva.

But one fellow fighter took aim at McGregor for his claim.

Jon Jones wrote on Twitter: “I’m not going to debate on who is the goat, I’ll let the fans do that for me.”

He then uploaded the top 16 names of UFC fighters with the most wins in title fights.

And McGregor is nowhere to be seen.

DIAZ FIRES BACK

UFC light-heavyweight champ Jones sits top of the tree with 14 wins and no losses.

In second spot is former two-weight world champion Georges St Pierre with 14 wins and three defeats.

Demetrious Johnson completes the top three with 12 wins and two losses.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz, who didn’t make the list, were also quick to scoff at McGregor’s claim.

Both Khabib and Diaz have inflicted defeats on McGregor – his only two losses since breaking on to the big stage in UFC.

KHABIB TAUNTS CONOR

Diaz, who lost his rematch against McGregor, wrote: “Smoked the #1 p4p and double champ. Know the real goat when you see him.

“And don’t forget I did it better and quicker than anyone else on the ground and sent him down with punches quicker than Mayweather did so f*** alll y’all rankings and know a real goat when you see me.”

Khabib demolished the Notorious in September 2018 with a fourth-round submission and remains unbeaten with a perfect 28-0 record in MMA.

The Russian added: “You tapped out in featherweight, you tapped out in lightweight and you tapped in welterweight.

“You never defended title in the UFC or Cage Warriors, you gave up more than GSP, Spider and Bones all together.

“You [the] greatest @ufc fighter in twitter history.”
