WATCH: Cowboys fans use Dak Prescott’s jersey to mop the floor following ‘humiliating’ loss to the 49ers last week

Dallas Cowboys after week 5 are now 3-2 and need a solid comeback.

Dak Prescott is probably going through the worst time of his life. After a shambolic performance against the San Francisco 49ers, some of the Dallas Cowboys‘ fans mopped the floor with the help of his jersey. They were spotted putting Prescott’s jersey on the top of a stick and mopping the floor with that. Some of them even welcomed this behavior by cheering.

The incident is unfortunate, and no player deserves this kind of attitude. Yes, Prescott had a poor game against the 49ers. He covered fewer passing yards and, along with that, was also intercepted thrice. However, those things should be different from behaviors like this. No player deserves this humiliation.

The incident occurred after the Dallas lost the game against the San Francisco 49ers by a margin of 42-10. A 32-point loss made the fans frustrated. They chanted with the name of Trey Lance and wanted Dak to be removed from the squad. The Cowboys signed Lance this season as a backup QB. However, the fans wanted him to see as the regular starter, as they were frustrated by Dak’s mistakes.

Interceptions have always been a problem for him and it seems that he has done no work to cure that. Ahead of the season, he said that he would not be intercepted more than 10 times this season. However, in reality, he has already been intercepted four times in six games already. In the coming matches, if he does not work on this problem, then this can become his last season as the Cowboys starter.

Dak Prescott is still confident after 49ers blowout loss

Ahead of the game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, Dak seemed confident as he said that a defeat could never beat the spirit of his team. He believes that the Cowboys will have a great comeback in the season.

Addressing the press, the 30-year-old quarterback said, “I’m confident as hell. I feel great. … What we’ve put together, the plan, everything we’ve worked on going back to the spring, I’d be crazy to lose confidence in that. Sh*t’s hard. And it got hard Sunday. The last thing we’re gonna do is give up and quit or say let’s start from scratch and start over.

Dak has registered five touchdowns in six matches and has covered more than 1,000 yards. He has also been intercepted four times in the season. The player has to find an answer to this problem of getting intercepted at crucial moments.
