The RB’s journey ended with a victory against the Jaguars. They prevented the Jags from stepping into the playoffs, and the RB could not have a better moment than this. The Jags were the divisional rivals, and their rivalry shares some interesting stories. Earlier in the season, Henry expressed doubts about his future with the Tennessee Titans. With the regular season coming to an end, Henry came to a decision regarding his future.

The 30-year-old again had one of the finest seasons in his career. He ended up finishing the regular season with 1,167 yards of rushing. He ran for 280 times. This was his fourth season with more than 1,000 yards. The RB also had his season-best against the Jaguars, running for 153 yards with an 18-yard touchdown.

Ryan Tannehill also acknowledged the efforts of Derrick Henry

The Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill acknowledged the efforts provided by the running back on the gridiron. Tannehill lost the starting position to Will Levis this season. However, he did not hesitate to appreciate Henry following his final game.

This is what Tannehill said:

To see him have the day he had today was a lot of fun for me as well. I turn my head and he gets through the line of scrimmage without much contact you know there's a chance at being a big one. And he had a couple of those ... as well as the tough yards.

Despite playing the last game for the Titans, there are possibilities that Derrick can seek an extension in the team. Nonetheless, the RB is planning to explore market opportunities as well. Similarly, Ryan Tannehill could also move away from the team in the upcoming season.
