Following their shocking loss to Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round, the Dallas Cowboys went from being a serious contender for the Super Bowl to being the target of some hilarious jokes on social media.

The Cowboys were supposed to make a run to win the Super Bowl this season, instead, they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs after yet another disappointing playoff performance.

The Packers, led by the first-time starter Jordan Love, destroyed the Cowboys and won the game 48-32. Love played one of his best games as a starting quarterback and sliced the Dallas’ vaunted defense. Every Packers fan was enjoying the game, especially Love’s girlfriend, Ronika Stone. She took a few digs at the Cowboys’ fanbase as they were leaving the stadium in the third quarter.

Stone is the daughter of former NFL offensive lineman, Ron Stone. She was a standout volleyball player at the University of Oregon. Stone and Love started dating in 2020. Love finished the game with 272 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Matt LaFleur had high praise for the Packers’ quarterback Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers delivered the result of the weekend as they outclassed the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas to advance to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Their QB Jordan Love had himself a game as he racked up 272 yards and 3 touchdowns while completing 16 of his 21 pass attempts. Packers HC Matt LaFleur had high praise for his quarterback after the game.

Man, Jordan Love. Wow. That’s about all I can say, is ‘wow. What he did, the poise he shows, the command he shows. The [20-yard] touchdown pass to Dontayvion Wicks… Wicks made a hell of a catch. Those are things that, you can try to coach it, but what a moment for him… It just shows the growth that he’s had from his first start versus KC to now. I’m just so proud and happy for him.

 

Love had a fantastic season as he accumulated 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions with a passer rating of 96.1. He completed 64.2 percent of his passes. The Packers will take on the San Francisco 49ers in their Divisional Round game on Sunday.
